A Tower Unite dedicated condo shows on the in game Condos list only when it has both a valid Steam login token (made for app ID 394690) and a valid Tower login token from moderation.towerunite.com in TowerServer.ini, your account has no active condo ban, and the server's ports are reachable. If the log shows Disconnect - Disconnecting from AGC, the tokens are the problem: regenerate the Tower token, paste both in again exactly, and restart.
Work through the checks below in order. PixelTail's own debugging notes point at the same three causes: tokens, bans and ports.
How the condo list works
When a dedicated condo starts, it signs in to two places:
- Steam, with the Steam login token, which gives the server a fixed Steam ID.
- PixelTail's condo service, with the Tower login token, which pairs the server with your Tower Unite account and adds it to the condo list.
Players see the result under Condos in the main menu. If either sign in fails, the condo can still run, but nobody finds it in the list.

Check 1: both tokens are present and correct
Open TowerServer.ini (on Linux, Tower/Saved/Config/LinuxServer/TowerServer.ini) and look under the first section:
[/Script/TowerNetworking.DedicatedServerOptions]
ServerTitle=My Dedicated Condo
MaxPlayers=32
SteamLoginToken=XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX
TowerLoginToken=XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX
Common mistakes:
| Mistake | Fix |
|---|---|
| Token pasted with a space or line break | Paste it again as one line with nothing around it |
| Steam token made for 439660 | Make it for 394690, the game's app ID, at steamcommunity.com/dev/managegameservers |
| Tower token missing | Create one at moderation.towerunite.com/manage_game_servers.php |
| Token regenerated on the website but old one still in the file | Copy the new token into the file |
Lines placed under the wrong [section] |
Keep both token lines under [/Script/TowerNetworking.DedicatedServerOptions] |
| Same token used on two servers | Make one pair of tokens per server |
Restart the server after any change. It reads the file only at start.
Check 2: "Disconnect - Disconnecting from AGC"
This line in the server log is the official sign of a token problem. The fix:
- On the Tower moderation page, click Regenerate for your server's token.
- Paste the new token into
TowerLoginToken=. - Check the Steam token on the Steam page is still listed and not expired or deleted. Steam lets you regenerate it there too.
- Restart and watch the log.
Check 3: your account has a condo ban
PixelTail lists an active condo ban as a reason a dedicated condo is missing from the list. Condos are moderated, and a condo that breaks the content rules can be delisted. Check the Ban Appeals page in the official Tower Unite guides for an active condo ban on your account.
Two content rules catch people out:
- Mature content must have "18+" in
ServerTitle. Unlabeled mature condos get delisted. - The condo rules apply to dedicated condos exactly as to normal ones.
Check 4: the ports
If the tokens are right and the log is clean but nobody can join, or the condo flickers in and out of the list, check the network side:
| Ports | Protocol | Purpose |
|---|---|---|
| 7777 to 7778 | UDP | Game connection (-Port) |
| 27015 to 27050 | TCP and UDP | Steam connection and queries (-QueryPort) |
Forward them to the server and allow them through the firewall. If you changed -Port or -QueryPort on the command line, forward those numbers instead. When running the server on the same PC you play on, use -QueryPort=27016 and -nosteamclient, as the official guide recommends, or the server and your game fight over port 27015. Router help is in how to port forward a game server.

Check 5: the server is out of date
After a Tower Unite update, players on the new version cannot join a server still running the old one. Update the dedicated server:
./steamcmd.sh +force_install_dir ./towerunite/ +login anonymous +app_update 439660 validate +quit
On Windows, run UpdateTU.bat. On Linux, check Tower/Binaries/Linux/steamclient.so is still there afterwards, and copy it from linux64 again if not.
Check 6: players are looking in the wrong place
Dedicated condos are listed under Condos in the main menu, not in the Plaza. The list is long, so search by your exact ServerTitle. A full condo (at MaxPlayers) can still show but cannot be joined.
Related: condo loads empty
If the condo is listed but the build is gone, that is not a listing problem: the server could not find your condo data and started a blank one. The log says FAILED TO LOAD CONDO DATA. The fix, with the right folder and file names, is in how to move your Tower Unite condo to a dedicated server.
On GamezServers
On a GamezServers Tower Unite server we create and fill in the Steam login token for you, so check 1 comes down to one field: your Tower login token, made on PixelTail's moderation site and pasted into the panel, then a restart. The server updates itself on restart when Auto Update is on, the ports are set for you, and the live console shows the log lines above. If the condo still is not listed with a fresh Tower token, email support@gamezservers.com with the server name. For the full setup, see how to host a Tower Unite dedicated condo.
FAQ
Why is my Tower Unite dedicated condo not on the condo list?
Usually a missing or wrong Steam or Tower login token. Check both in TowerServer.ini, regenerate the Tower token if the log says "Disconnecting from AGC", and restart.
What does "Disconnecting from AGC" mean in Tower Unite?
The dedicated condo could not sign in with its login tokens. Fix or regenerate the tokens and restart.
What app ID is the Tower Unite Steam login token for?
394690, Tower Unite's own app ID. The server software is 439660, but the token is made for the game.
Do I need to restart after changing the tokens?
Yes. The dedicated condo reads TowerServer.ini only when it starts.
Skip the setup. Your own Tower Unite server.
