Your Control Panel: Console, Files, Plans and More

Open any server from your dashboard to reach its control panel. Your server address sits at the top: click it to copy, then paste it into your game.

Console and actions

The Console tab shows your server's live output. Type any command at the bottom and press Enter.

On the right you have Start, Restart, Stop and Backup, plus buttons for your game's everyday jobs such as saving the world or broadcasting a message. Buttons that need a detail, like a player name, ask for it first.

Files

The Files tab lets you browse your server's files, open and edit config files in the browser, upload files, download them and delete them. Changes to config files usually need a restart to take effect.

SFTP for big uploads

For large uploads such as worlds and modpacks, use an SFTP app like FileZilla or WinSCP. Go to Settings and click Show SFTP login to see the host, port, username and password. Each time you show the login, a new password is set, so the old one stops working.

Sleep when empty

With Sleep when empty on, your server stops after 90 minutes with nobody playing. Nothing is lost: your world is saved, and one press of Start brings it back. Turn it off in Settings if you want the server online around the clock.

Changing your plan

In Settings, pick another plan of the same game. The new memory applies after a restart. Your price changes right away and the difference is prorated for the rest of the month. If you split the bill, everyone moves to the new price: your share changes today and your friends are emailed before theirs changes.

Switching games

Bored of a game? In Settings, move your server to another game that has a plan with the same memory. We back up your current world first, then reinstall the server with the new game, which takes about a minute. Your price only changes if the new plan costs more or less.

Sharing with friends

If you split the bill with Server Share, friends who make an account with the email they paid with see the server in their own dashboard. They can use the console, the actions and the files. Only you can change the plan, switch games, manage the split and get SFTP access.

Earn from your link

At the bottom of your dashboard you can get a referral link. When someone buys a server through it, you earn 20% of what they pay, every month they stay.
