Frozen Flame servers are administered over RCON, not with in game chat commands. Start the server with -RconPort=27015 -RconPassword=yourpassword, connect with any RCON tool such as mcrcon, and enter the password in the form admin:yourpassword. From there you can run Dreamside's Admin_ commands: Admin_GetOnlinePlayers to get player IDs, Admin_KickPlayer, Admin_Ban with a duration in seconds, Admin_SaveAll, Admin_Restart, and item and XP commands like Admin_AddItem and Admin_AddFlame.
The full list below comes from the official RCON.commands file in Dreamside Interactive's server repository. Frozen Flame's development is paused while the studio sorts out publishing rights, so this list has been stable for a long time.

Connecting to RCON
You need three things: the server's IP, the RCON port (27015 by default) and the RCON password. With mcrcon, a small free command line tool:
mcrcon -H 203.0.113.10 -P 27015 -p "admin:yourpassword" -t
The -t flag opens an interactive terminal so you can type commands one after another. The detail that trips everyone: the password has to be entered as admin: followed by your RCON password, not the password on its own. Dreamside's readme calls this out specifically.
If the connection is refused, check that the RCON port is open on the firewall (TCP 27015 by default) and that the server was started with both -RconPort and -RconPassword.
Players and profiles
Almost every command takes a PlayerID. Get it first:
| Command | What it does |
|---|---|
Admin_GetOnlinePlayers |
Names and IDs of players currently online |
Admin_ListUserProfiles |
Every player who has ever joined |
Admin_InfoUserProfile <PlayerID> |
Detailed profile info for one player |
Admin_GetPlayerInfo <PlayerID> |
More details about a player |
Admin_AddUserProfile <PlayerID> <Role> |
Gives a player a role |
Admin_SaveUserProfile |
Saves player profiles now |
Admin_ReloadUserProfiles |
Reloads profiles, useful after moving or deleting one |
Admin_RemoveUserProfile <PlayerID> |
Removes a player's profile |
Admin_RemoveProfile <PlayerID> |
Removes a player from the server, including their save data |
Admin_RemoveProfile deletes progress. Take a backup before using it, because there is no undo.
Kicks, bans and chat bans
| Command | What it does |
|---|---|
Admin_KickPlayer <PlayerID> <Reason> |
Kicks the player with a reason |
Admin_Ban <PlayerID> <Seconds> <Reason> |
Bans for a number of seconds |
Admin_Unban <PlayerID> |
Lifts a ban |
Admin_Chatban <PlayerID> <Seconds> <Reason> |
Blocks chat for a number of seconds |
Admin_ChatUnban <PlayerID> |
Restores chat |
Durations are in seconds: 3600 is an hour, 86400 a day and 604800 a week. For a long ban, multiply out the seconds rather than guessing.
Server control
| Command | What it does |
|---|---|
Admin_SaveWorld |
Saves the world |
Admin_SaveAll |
Saves the world and all player profiles |
Admin_Restart |
Restarts the server |
Admin_Shutdown |
Shuts the server down |
Admin_ServerWorld |
Shows the server's current version |
Admin_ScheduleMaintenanceMode <Seconds> |
Schedules maintenance and warns players in game |
Admin_CancelScheduledMaintenanceMode |
Cancels it |
Admin_ChatMessage [Message] |
Posts a message in game chat |
A good restart routine: Admin_ScheduleMaintenanceMode 300 to give players five minutes of warning, then Admin_SaveAll, then Admin_Restart.
Items, XP and fixing players
| Command | What it does |
|---|---|
Admin_GetPlayerInventory <PlayerID> |
Lists item IDs and amounts in a player's inventory |
Admin_AddItem <PlayerID> <ItemID> <Amount> |
Gives items |
Admin_RemoveItem <PlayerID> <ItemID> <Amount> |
Takes items away |
Admin_AddFlame <PlayerID> <Amount> |
Gives Flame, the game's XP |
Admin_RemoveFlame <PlayerID> <Amount> |
Removes Flame. Cannot lower a player's level |
Admin_Respawn <PlayerID> |
Respawns a player, handy when someone is stuck |
Admin_SetCurse <PlayerID> <Amount> |
Marked deprecated by Dreamside. Avoid it |
Admin_RemoveCurse <PlayerID> <Amount> |
Removes Curse |
Item IDs come from the same official file. A few useful ones:
| Item ID | Item |
|---|---|
Coin_C |
Coin |
FrozenFlame_C |
Frozen Flame |
TeleportStone_C |
Return Stone |
HealthPotion_C |
Health Potion |
Wood_M |
Log |
Stone_M |
Stone |
IronBar_M |
Iron Ingot |
MetalSword_W |
Metal Sword |
MetalArmor_A |
Metal Armor |
So restoring a lost stack of potions after a bug looks like:
Admin_GetOnlinePlayers
Admin_AddItem 1234567890 HealthPotion_C 10
Use the real ID from the first command. The full item list, including every weapon tier, armor set and quest item, is in Dreamside's RCON.commands file on GitHub.

Good habits for admins
- Save before risky commands. Run
Admin_SaveAllbefore removing profiles or items, and keep a backup ofFrozenFlame/Saved/SaveGames. Our backup guide covers a simple routine. - Players dropped after half a minute are not being kicked by anyone. That is an EasyAntiCheat mismatch. See our fix for Frozen Flame disconnects after 30 seconds.
- Use the inventory command first.
Admin_GetPlayerInventoryshows exactly what someone has, so you replace what was lost rather than guessing. - Keep the RCON password private. Anyone with it has full control. Use a long random one and share it only with people who need it.
RCON on a hosted server
On a GamezServers Frozen Flame server, the RCON password is a panel setting passed to the server on start, and the RCON port is assigned for you, so connect your tool to the server's address with the RCON port shown in the panel and admin: plus your password. The live console in the panel shows joins and errors without opening another tool, and one click backups cover you before any Admin_RemoveProfile. For the rest of the setup, including Game.ini balance settings, see our Frozen Flame hosting guide.
FAQ
How do I become admin on a Frozen Flame server?
Admin work happens over RCON. Start the server with an RCON port and password, connect with an RCON tool and log in with admin: followed by the password.
Why does my RCON password not work?
Enter it as admin:yourpassword, not just the password. That format is required by Frozen Flame's RCON.
How do I ban a player on Frozen Flame?
Get their ID with Admin_GetOnlinePlayers, then run Admin_Ban <PlayerID> <Seconds> <Reason>.
How do I give items to a player?
Use Admin_AddItem <PlayerID> <ItemID> <Amount>, with item IDs such as HealthPotion_C from the official list.
