A free Palworld server with the memory it needs

A real dedicated Palworld server, paid for by the people who click your link.

Palworld is one of the hungriest servers you can run, which is why genuinely free hosting for it barely exists. We do it with credits instead: your share link earns them, and they pay for a normal paid server.

Why free Palworld hosting is so rare

Palworld needs serious memory

Pocketpair recommends 16 GB of memory for a dedicated server. It can boot on less, but memory use grows as bases fill up with Pals and structures, and running out causes crashes and rollbacks. On top of that the server has a known memory leak that grows the longer it runs.

A free host cannot hand out 12 to 24 GB per world and stay in business, so free Palworld servers tend to be squeezed onto far too little memory, or simply do not exist. Co-op hosting from your own game avoids the bill, but the world only exists while the host is playing and only a handful of friends can join.

Your share link pays instead

Every account gets a share link in one click from the dashboard. It earns credits two ways: 5 cents for every person who clicks it, counted once a day per person, and $10 for every person who clicks it and subscribes, once per person. Anyone counts, from your Discord to strangers who find your post about your Palworld base.

Credits are money that buys servers with us, not a discount, and they come off your bills automatically.

What the credits buy

Our smallest Palworld plan is 12 GB at $29.99 a month, sized for a small group of up to 8 players. Three people who click your link and subscribe cover a month of it. Four cover a month of the 16 GB Standard plan Pocketpair recommends, at $39.99.

You do not have to wait for a full month. Once your credits cover a server you get it with credits alone, no card and no payment, and a 3 day prepaid 12 GB server is $7.50, less than a single subscriber earns you. Keep adding time with credits as they come in. They have no cash value and only pay GamezServers bills.

A real server, not a stripped down one

Credit paid servers are the same as any other: dedicated memory, DDoS protection, backups a click away before every patch, and capture rates, XP and day length from simple menus in the panel. Steam, Xbox, PlayStation 5 and Mac players can share it, with console players finding it by name in the community server list.

The server restarts itself with a two minute warning every few hours, or early when memory runs high, to keep the leak in check. Your base keeps working while everyone is offline, and the server only goes to sleep after 4 days with nobody on. Anyone with access wakes it with one click.

How to join your Palworld server

  1. 1

Launch Palworld and choose Join Multiplayer Game from the title screen.

  2. 2

Type 203.0.113.24:8211 into the box at the bottom of the server list.

  3. 3

Click Connect and enter the password if you set one.

  4. 4

Xbox and PlayStation players cannot type an address. Your server is always in the community server list, so they search for its name there instead.

Common problems

Include the port

Type the whole address, including the colon and the number after it.

Version mismatch

The server updates itself every time it starts. After a Palworld patch, restart the server and update the game on every device.

Settings went back

Settings from the panel are written into PalWorldSettings.ini on every start. Change those in the panel, and stop the server before editing anything else in the file.

Server not responding

Make sure the server is online. Servers sleep after 4 days with nobody playing, and anyone with access can start them again from the dashboard in one click.

Use the server address

Do not use localhost, 127.0.0.1 or your own IP from a home hosting guide. Copy the exact address of the server.

No port forwarding or firewall changes

Opening ports on your router is only for hosting a server at home, so there is nothing to change to join this one. If Windows asks whether to let the game through the firewall, choose Allow.

Common questions

Is there really a free Palworld server?

The server is a normal paid one. Your share link earns credits that come off the bill automatically, and when they cover it you pay nothing.

How much RAM does a Palworld server need?

Pocketpair recommends 16 GB. Our plans start at 12 GB for small groups of up to 8 players, and 24 GB suits full servers or big late game bases.

How many subscribers do I need for a month?

Three people who click your link and subscribe earn you enough credits for a month of the 12 GB Starter plan at $29.99. Clicks add 5 cents each on top.

Can I get a server with credits alone?

Yes. Once your credits cover a server, you get it without a card. A 3 day prepaid 12 GB Palworld server is $7.50, and you can extend it with more credits.

Can Xbox and PS5 players join?

Yes. Steam, Xbox, PlayStation 5 and Mac players can share the server. Console players cannot type an address, so they search for its name in the community server list.

Can I run mods on it?

Not yet. We run the official Linux server for stability, so Palworld servers are vanilla. World settings like capture rate and XP are in the panel.

How many players can join?

Up to 32. Pocketpair recommends 16 GB, and big late game bases feel best on 24 GB.

Can I move my co-op world over?

Yes, with a little work. Stop the server, upload your world folder into Pal/Saved/SaveGames/0/ and set DedicatedServerName in GameUserSettings.ini to that folder name. The host of the co-op game gets a new character on a server, and a community save tool can move the old one over. Take a backup first.

Does Palworld crossplay work on a dedicated server?

Yes. Since 1.0, Steam, Xbox, PS5 and Mac players can join the same server. Console players cannot enter an IP, so the server needs to be listed in the community server list for them.

Can my friends and I split the cost?

Yes. At checkout choose "Me and my friends" and up to 10 people each pay their own share with their own card, on any plan length, from 3 days to a year. It is not a payment plan: nobody pays in parts over time, each friend simply pays their own share. You pay yours, send each friend their link, and the server starts straight away. Each share includes a $1 payment fee.

Can I build a custom plan?

Yes. Every game has a Build your own page: pick any amount of RAM up to 32 GB, any length from 3 days to 1 year, prepaid or a subscription, plus your server type and settings. A custom size costs 15% more per GB than the standard plans next to it.

Can I pay once instead of a subscription?

Yes. Pick Prepaid and pay once for 3 days, 30 days, 6 months or a year. Nothing renews: when the time is up the server pauses and keeps its world for 14 days. Add time or switch to a subscription from your panel any time. Short rentals cost more per day, since every server is set up from scratch.

How fast is setup, really?

Your server starts building the moment Stripe confirms payment. Most are online in under a minute, and the address and login appear on your dashboard automatically.
