Schedule I v0.4.7 entered open beta on 19 September 2026, according to TVGS's v0.4.7 Open Beta announcement on Steam. It adds four groups of special customers, a buyable Hyland Medical business and a rebuilt appearance system. The S1DedicatedServers mod added beta support on 2 October, but stable dedicated servers should stay on the default game branch for now.

What is in Schedule 1 v0.4.7?

v0.4.7 is the "special customers" update that won the third community vote in April 2026 with 142,287 votes, ahead of hireable drivers and police improvements. TVGS's patch notes list:

  • Special customer groups that visit town and buy in bulk: Hippies, the Party Bus, Businessmen and Bikers. In the vote announcement TVGS said each group has one or two preferred products and buys large quantities at a slightly lower margin, a fast way to move stock.
  • Hyland Medical, with a new interior, as a purchasable business.
  • Higher laundering capacities: Post office 4,000 to 5,000, Car wash 6,000 to 8,000, Taco Ticklers 8,000 to 12,000.
  • A rebuilt avatar appearance system, replacing the old one to support user created cosmetics in a future update.
  • New clothes, hairstyles and facial hair, plus black rubber mats and a Persian rug.
  • New teleport locations: southoverpass, suburbia, park, westville and casino.
  • A new queuecustomergroup command for calling in a customer group.
  • Memory savings: icons for mixed products are generated and saved more efficiently, which TVGS says "should result in several-hundred megabytes saved in memory use for late-game saves."
  • A multiplayer fix for thrown physics props falling out of sync.

Is v0.4.7 out yet?

Not on the default branch, as of 3 October 2026. It is an open beta, which you join in Steam under Schedule I, Properties, Betas. TVGS has not announced a full release date. Recent updates spent anywhere from a few days to about three weeks in beta: v0.4.5 went live 3 days after its beta, while v0.4.6 entered beta on 9 July and released on 31 July.

Watch out for the appearance save change

TVGS warns that v0.4.7 changes how player appearances are saved. Playing an existing save on the beta converts appearances to the new format, and "If you switch back to the default version of the game after playing this beta, any appearances that have been converted to the new format will not load properly." Back up your save before you try the beta, and do not test it on your main world.

Does v0.4.7 work on a Schedule 1 dedicated server?

Only with the beta build of the server mod. S1DedicatedServers v1.1.1-beta.1, released on 2 October 2026, targets the Schedule I 0.4.7f7 beta. Its notes say:

  • Update both the server and every player's client mod.
  • Use the Il2cpp packages with Steam's beta branch, or the Mono packages with the alternate-beta branch.
  • Back up your save before testing.

It also fixes special customer groups loading and arriving, sleep transitions that could leave players stuck on Waiting for host..., and headless weather errors that hurt performance on the beta.

On a stable server, keep everyone on the default branch with the stable mod, currently v1.1.0. The game, the client mod and the server must all match. A beta client joining a stable server, or the other way round, will fail to connect. See Schedule 1 can't connect to dedicated server.

The v0.4.6 updates server owners missed

Two v0.4.6 patches matter for anyone running a server:

Patch Date Change
v0.4.6 31 July 2026 Gamepad support and a 20 to 30% performance boost in TVGS's testing. Lobby logic and platform code were rewritten.
v0.4.6f12 7 August 2026 Fixed a security hole where users "could join a multiplayer game without being friends with the host", credited to ifBars, the S1DS author

The fix is in the game itself. Separately, S1DS dedicated servers check every player through Steam when they join, which is why each player needs their own copy of Schedule I.

S1DS also moved fast over the summer, from v1.0.3 in early August to v1.1.0 on 21 September, which added a Public server browser tab. Our guide to listing a Schedule 1 server on the public server list covers it.

What this means for your server

  1. Stay on stable for now. Do not move a shared world to the beta. Appearance data does not convert back.
  2. Back up before v0.4.7 goes live. When it releases, it will convert your save's appearance data for good.
  3. Update the game and the mod together. On release day, update the server, then have every player download the matching client mod again.
  4. Expect lower memory use late game. The icon change should save several hundred MB on big saves, which helps servers that sit near their RAM limit.
  5. Test bulk sales. Special customers change how fast product moves, so your crew's economy may need rebalancing.

Updating on GamezServers

Our Schedule 1 server hosting runs the stable game and mod. When v0.4.7 reaches the default branch and S1DS releases matching support, press Update game in your panel. It backs up your world first, then reinstalls the game and server mod. Players then grab the latest client mod from your invite page. The quick start guide covers the rest.
