How to become admin on your server

There are two ways.

1. With the admin password. Open the console and type:

The password is the ServerAdminPassword from the server's launch line or GameUserSettings.ini. EnableCheats never takes a cheat prefix itself. You need to run it again every time you reconnect.

2. With the admin list (no password). Add each admin's EOS ID to this file, one per line:

ShooterGame/Saved/AllowedCheaterAccountIDs.txt

Restart the server and everyone on the list gets admin automatically when they join. This is the better option for a friend group, since nobody has to share or retype the password.

Commands that do not stick

Some commands change a value only until the next restart. DestroyWildDinos and item spawns are permanent, but anything that changes server settings in memory is lost when the server restarts. On a GamezServers server you do not even have to be in game.
