What comes set up on a QANGA server
Co-op the way it works
QANGA co-op runs on dedicated servers. Your own means your crew plays together without a PC left on at someone's house.
A whole solar system
Fly between planets and moons with no loading screens, build bases and recruit cyborgs in a world that keeps its progress.
Auto updates for early access
QANGA patches often. Auto Update pulls the new server build on every restart so it matches the game client.
Backups before big patches
Early access updates can change saves. Take a one click backup before restarting into a major update.

- 3
Search for your Session Name.
- 4
Select your server and join.
Common problems
Players get a version error right after a QANGA patch? Restart the server from the panel with Auto Update on so it downloads the same build the clients have.
Session Name must be 5 to 25 characters. Pick something distinctive so your crew can find it quickly in the server list.
Big early access updates, like the 2026 move to Unreal Engine 5.7, can reset or break older worlds. Back up first, and expect a wipe now and then.
The first start after an update can take a few minutes while the server installs. Wait for the console to show the server is up before joining.
Server not responding
Make sure the server is online. Servers sleep after 4 days with nobody playing, and anyone with access can start them again from the dashboard in one click.
Use the server address
Do not use localhost, 127.0.0.1 or your own IP from a home hosting guide. Copy the exact address of the server.
No port forwarding or firewall changes
Opening ports on your router is only for hosting a server at home, so there is nothing to change to join this one. If Windows asks whether to let the game through the firewall, choose Allow.
QANGA server hosting, explained
QANGA is an early access sci fi survival game from iolaCorp Studio, set centuries after humanity's fall. You play a cyborg in a solar system you can cross without loading screens, landing on planets and moons, gathering, building, fighting rival factions and wildlife, and flying ships and driving vehicles between bases. A big 2026 update moved the game to Unreal Engine 5.7, rebuilt the gunplay and made planets busier with patrols and factions fighting on their own.
Co-op in QANGA works by running a dedicated server rather than hosting from the game, which is exactly where renting one helps. Your crew gets a world that keeps going whether or not anyone is online, and you choose whether it is a quiet co-op server for friends or a PvP server where groups compete. Servers hold up to 50 players.
Our panel sets the map, the session name, the query port and automatic updates. Auto Update matters a lot for an early access game that patches often, because the server has to match the client version. Config and save files are in the file manager if you want to dig further, and one click backups protect your world before an update that touches saves.
QANGA is an Unreal Engine 5 survival game with large planets, so the world, buildings and active players all add up. A co-op server for a few friends runs on 8 GB. A public or PvP server heading toward 50 players should start on 12 GB, with 16 GB for long running worlds with many bases. With Sleep when empty, a quiet server stops after 4 days alone and saves the world first.

Common questions
How many players can a QANGA server hold?
QANGA servers support up to 50 players. Private co-op groups are usually much smaller.
Can I play QANGA co-op with friends?
Yes. Co-op is done by running a dedicated server and having your group join it, which is what this server is for.
Does QANGA get updates often?
It is in early access, so expect regular patches. Leave Auto Update on and restart after a patch so the server matches the client.
Will updates wipe my world?
Usually not, but big early access updates can change or break saves. Take a backup in the panel before restarting into a major update.
Do I need to own QANGA to run the server?
No. The dedicated server is a separate free download that we install and update for you. Each player needs their own copy of QANGA on Steam.
Can I make it a PvP server?
QANGA has both online co-op and PvP play. The server's settings files are in the file manager if you want to change how your world runs.
How do players find the server?
They search for your Session Name in the in-game server list. A new server can take a minute or two to appear.
How much RAM does a QANGA server need?
8 GB covers a small co-op group, 12 GB a busy public or PvP server, and 16 GB long running worlds with lots of bases.
Is GamezServers affiliated with QANGA?
No. You rent and control your own dedicated QANGA server. GamezServers is not affiliated with the game's developer or publisher.
Can my friends and I split the cost?
Yes. At checkout choose "Me and my friends" and up to 10 people each pay their own share with their own card, on any plan length, from 3 days to a year. It is not a payment plan: nobody pays in parts over time, each friend simply pays their own share. You pay yours, send each friend their link, and the server starts straight away. Each share includes a $1 payment fee.
Can I build a custom plan?
Yes. Every game has a Build your own page: pick any amount of RAM up to 32 GB, any length from 3 days to 1 year, prepaid or a subscription, plus your server type and settings. A custom size costs 15% more per GB than the standard plans next to it.
Can I pay once instead of a subscription?
Yes. Pick Prepaid and pay once for 3 days, 30 days, 6 months or a year. Nothing renews: when the time is up the server pauses and keeps its world for 14 days. Add time or switch to a subscription from your panel any time. Short rentals cost more per day, since every server is set up from scratch.
How fast is setup, really?
Your server starts building the moment Stripe confirms payment. Most are online in under a minute, and the address and login appear on your dashboard automatically.
